Atlanta MPG

How's your MPG in Atlanta? I got 27.3 MPG w/ my AT Sport w/ the first tank. Just want to know how Atlanta treats your Fit.

Hi. What kind of driving do you do?

I am considering a Sport AT for commuting across the top-end perimeter. Our current 10-year old Saturn SL2 gets 29 mpg on that route. It keeps chugging along but who knows how much longer.

I'm in the NW burbs, and do a combination of 2 lane hwy driving and freeway driving. I've also taken my 2 kids and their friend to several places during the first tank. If you are going on the northern perimeter a lot, you would probably get the same MPG as your current car.

go from fayetteville to newnan every day to work, only need to fill it up once every week and a half, instead of once every 4 days in the 15 gallon gas tank prelude

Atl MPG

I've got almost 13,000 miles, had it since Oct. My MPG has varied from 32 to 45.6! The 32 was a trip to and from Savannah at a steady 80 mph and the 45 is commuting around the eastern perimeter from Tucker to the airport at 50-55 mph and shifting at 2000 rpm. Driving hard in N GA doesn't get it much below 35 and the overall average mpg is 36.7.

Anybody heading for the Autoshow?

Well as for me I usually get like 32-34 mpg driving 75 mph on I-985, but I have gotten 40 mpg going to DC a couple of times. I'm almost at 20,000 miles already & it's a manual
