A hard time for strut bars? No.

I am in the middle of painting my headlights from white to flat black. Was about to be finished and the heatgun took a shit on me, so I couldn't re-seal them. It was too late to go to Harbor Freight, so I left the car apart and will finish them tonight. They look really good!

I doubt that they'll give you a hard time. If your car was broken they might, but they would have to prove that the intake lead to the problem. Dont worry about it too much or change your own oil.

Installed my Zeta armrest last night too. Going to install the deadpedal and put my floormats in tonight too.

If you're getting the rear strut bar for handling improvements, don't waste your money. If you want better handling, get the Progess rear sway bar, but nobody will be able to see it. If you're getting the Cusco to look cool, go ahead...

Got the armrest brand new (but second hand from another member) for $67 shipped. It was a steal!

The dead pedal I paid full price for.

The bar that goes across the roof on the inside of the car in the rear is the C-Pillar Bar as seen here:

A&J Racing :: Suspension & Brakes :: Fit/Jazz (GD3/4) :: J's Racing C-Pillar bar for Honda Fit / JAZZ GD-3/4

The rear strut bar is the one that is lower down in the rear:

A&J Racing :: Suspension & Brakes :: Fit/Jazz (GD3/4) :: J's Racing Rear strut bar for Honda Fit / JAZZ GD-3/4

Here is a good write-up about what a sway bar does:

What Do Sway Bars Do???

All of the rear strut bars and the c-pillar bars installed inside the car don't do anything but take up space on the Fit, they may be some benefit to other cars. (Actually the c-pillar bar make a great clothes rack )

The Progress rear sway bar bolts to the bottom of the rear suspension, under the car. This bar stiffens the rear suspension by adding an additional torsion bar to the factory torsion rear axle, reducing understeer and allowing the car to corner flatter. The bar is available from Progress, who makes them here in Anaheim. They are also sold through somebody back east. There's a DIY thread that is stickied in the suspension forum with all the contact info.

they're also good for women to hold onto while "riding" in the back seat.

my dealership didn't give me a hard time... but all dealers are different...

ewdysar already said what I was gonna say about the strut bars... I've raced both with and without the bars and I have felt absolutely no difference.

Totally agree! Really should have a rollbar with harness bar IMO if you intend on installing harnesses.

For my 1st oil change, Should i bring it to the dealership? or should we just do DIY. Does it really matter? my husband started doing DIY when he got to 30k miles on his EP. Should i wait?
