i think i priced my fit too low. what do you think?

i got a appraisal from carmax at $11k saturday so i decided to see if i can get more through craigslist. i put it up at $12.5k and i got 7 hits just today. car has been put back to stock. not 1 mod is on the car any longer.

my car is an auto sport w 10k miles on the odo.

what do you guys think? funny i couldn't sell the car whole modded and now stock it's sparking interests.

people are actually selling them for more than that. i think that may be a bit low seeing as a new one (09) will cost you approx 20k

well when it's stock people are less afraid of it..with mods it scares people on how the car was treated...You can get more money and more attention from alot of different types.. Go higher on the price. Then it won't hurt when they low ball you.. Don't sell your self short... Be firm and not eager looking to get the sale..believe me the wolfs can tell when the got a cheap and easy meal going...

I'd say it's too low. 10K on the odo is basically still a new car. I would price it at $15-16K. That's what KBB says it's worth.

i never trust kbb. i thought the demand for this gen was weaker as the new one came but obviously not.

i think i will adjust my price some.

I think KBB is good for both the buyer and seller. Buyer should (always) be ready to go lower than the listed price. Sold my mom's 2000 Plymouth Voyager van for $200 under KBB. Sold my 2002 Civic for $900 under KBB.

i saw it on HT and i thought you were crazy. mine is priced at 15,500 mostly stock with almost 11k on the odo. i usually price my stuff high cause on the internet people usually offer half of your asking price and when you finally settle on a price, they usually back out on you.

when i went to a honda dealer like 3 weeks ago, i was about to trade my fit in for the 09 fit. the dealer said they were gonna give me $13,500 for the trade in. and right now my car has 15,000 miles on it. soo imagine that. i'm sure you can get $12 grand for it easily.
