Mod Friendly Dealership for Service in LA/SGV?

The Fit has developed issues beyond my diagnostic capabilities and I'm afraid I'm going to have to take it to a dealership for repairs. The Fit is making a loud noise/vibration inside that is only audible inside the cabin that seems to be coming from the engine. Also the power steering with not return the steering wheel to center after completing a turn. I have suspension and wheel mods so I'm looking for a dealership in the LA or SGV area that won't automatically turn me away or automatically blame the "mods." Thanks.

not sure on the vibration deal. but the wheel not returning, that is your toe. The adjustment is way out and you need an alignment. i am 99.999999% sure of it as it happened to Bitoy, then I adjusted the toe and it was fine

And I know it's far from you, but Diamond Bar Honda used to look past mods...not sure about these days though.

a closer one would be Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos. Never been there but since they carry aftermarket parts in their parts dept., i think they will be cool with modded car.

I have been going to Power Honda Costa Mesa since 2007 and they never had issues with my mods.

I have aftermarket coilovers (Skunk2 Pro-C's) and wheels (Buddy Clubs). I did not have any problems with the mods and I've had them on my car for about 3 months. The vibration/grinding noise just appeared two days ago. The noise can only be heard while you are inside the car and not outside. I can feel a vibrations from the foot well of the driver side. Funny thing is the grinding/vibration either goes away or subsides when I make a right turn but not left. After reading gimmie's post, I hope its just an alignment issue or something related, however my car seems to track straight. I'll try Diamond Bar Honda in the morning.

Dealers will probably link it to the coilover install since it sounds like you have an issue with your suspension components. I'm no dealer, but it sure does sound like something to do with your suspension! Either way, good luck and be prepared to hear something about your modifications being at fault. If you're sure it isn't because of the coilovers, insist that it isn't. Good luck!
