Hi there, my wife and I Just aquired a 2008 Taffeda white (i think) Fit, it is in like new condition with 5400miles (8400km) it is just the base model i beleive. We are sad on the terms on which we aquired it as my Wifes Grandma passed on and it was hers. We have to fly back home here in the next week or two and pick it up so i dont know to much other than the color and milage. I understand that 2008 is the turning point for the 2nd gen fit, how would i know if it is a GD8 or a GE8?

66 views and no body can help me out? Is the GD8/GE8 strictly and engine difference or is there exterior styling ques as well.

 

look at ur VIN number. the first 3 digits/letters would say if if its GD or GE... google is your friend
