Alberta fits!
Hey welcome to the club! Awesome to see it growing.
Im gunna be out of town until mid october, so i wont really be on that much until then. But id be down for a meet when i get back if the weather is still okay.
Seems like there are definitely a few fits in edmonton/alberta, but looks like most of them just hang out on instagram. If you guys know anyone, feel free to invite them to this thread and we can try to come up with a bigger meet.

I missed UC last weekend. Stupid work schedule kills my social life lol.
Another meet when Connor is back would be great! Until then I'll keep trying to get out to UC one night as long as I'm done work early enough.

I can't remember which of you mentioned at the meet last month wanting a set of good wheels spacers for the rear, but I had a realization this evening: Eibach makes hub centric spacers for the BMW Mini Cooper. Which means they will fit all 4x100 Honda models as well. Check their web site for part numbers. I used a 2008 Mini as my search car in their product search.
Hey Connor!
I work until 5pm on the 16th and from 5pm on the 17th. Other than those times I'm in for a meetup!!

I'll actually be in the Edmonton area this weekend for Thanksgiving. I'll have to miss this one, but I have a lot of vacation time I don't have a use for, so we'll have to set something up when it warms up again.
I'm hoping to have a few new goodies by then. I said the same thing last winter, but this year the car will be paid for, and I want to prep it for a cross country trip next fall.

I saw the Rotas, they're gonna look cool on there. Where did you order them from? I've never seen a place that sells Rotas in Canada, or ships them reasonably to Canada. I wanted a set of Rota Auto-X when I first got the car because I can't justify the cost of a set of real SSR Type X.
I'm waiting to get my winter tires mounted on the pie cutters for the end of the month because I'm broke. We had to fly home for an emergency, so I owe my parents $2200 for the plane tickets. I'm going to buy a few things for them with some of what I owe for their trailer, and hopefully pay the rest back by spring.
I did get a pack of fifty 194 bulbs, though. The truck is going to get an LED dash, and LED brake lights, and I'm going to finally replace the one that burns green on the license plate. Also the Blox battery tie down will be here Monday or Tuesday. Despite my owing my parents money, I'm still saving for a couple more mods.
Only three payments left now, and I'm done paying for the car. I'm trying to get them all in by January 1st.

He ordered them on eBay from seller Aspecwheels. I recommended that seller because I've already purchased 3 sets from them and never got disappointed. Customer service is great, and pricing is reasonable. And besides, any retailer here that sells Rota will probably try to rape you with the prices.
If I don't make my budget for some RPF1's next year, I will go grab some Slipstreams from them again.

Yep aspec. Cheaper than anything local even with the exchange rate and shipping. They get here in less than 24 hours, im gunna try to get them mounted by wednesday at the latest.
Wow 50? Were they selling in bulk?
Speaking of winter tires, being on the 15s with the softer winter rubber is amazingly smooth compared to my 17s. Feels like im riding stock again lol.

Gee, shopping from the US and paying our horrible exchange rate is cheaper than shopping locally in northern Alberta? I'd have never guessed that would be the outcome .
They're just Amazon cheapies. 50 for $18. I need to do the dash on the wife's truck, and I'm not spending 4.95 per bulb just to have a readable dashboard. These cheap ones will be more than bright enough, and I can use the spares in my parent's Traverse.
Of course the day I was going to pop the battery tie down in, we get 4 inches of snow and prairie winds blow it all on my car. I'll have to borrow someone's garage in the near future.
