Secret Powers: Transformer, Robot in Disguise (and I can hug corners like no one else)
Strengths: Made in Japan, ability to kick the crap out of large vehicles when taking corners.
Weaknesses: Fobby owner (Seriously who does the V sign in this day and age?)

Mods to Mr.Fit:

Mr.Married: Looking good Mr.Fit!
Mr.Fit: Feeling good Mr.Married!
(random Trivia: What movie starring 2 Saturday Night Alums was this line uttered in, albeit with different names?)
How We Met.
Mr.Married: Well some time ago I felt it was prudent to get rid of my old gas guzzling vehicle for a more fuel efficient one. I looked at numerous choices but for the money Mr.Fit couldn’t be beat. He was extremely versatile, had excellent trunk capacity, superb MPG, excellent handling capabilities, and hell, I’m man enough to admit it, he looked good to boot.
Mr.Fit: Pfft that’s an understatement! I’m freaking sexy! Just look at my curves! My ass can’t be beat! Admit it you only picked me cause I had a good body!
Mr.Married: Errr… I do believe I had my eye on that hot Prius and Yaris.
Mr.Fit: Don’t play a playa son, the Yaris and Prius don’t put out OR do the things that I can!
Mr.Married: ……

Mr.Fit: See that? That is 100% sexy ass my friend. My butt be shiny!
Mr.Married: I know, I polished it.
What we want to improve!
Mr.Fit: I don’t need no improvements, I’m freaking perfect the way I am! 100% made in Japan baby! Nihongo Desu! Fast and the Furious ain’t got nothing on me! It’s all about Fit and the Furious!
Mr.Married: Do you see what I have to deal with everyday? He’s an extremely temperamental vehicle. If you think K.I.T.T gave Knightrider a hard time.. sigh. When I began tinkering with Mr.Fit I wanted him to have more visual appeal, power, and take even tighter turns. With a limited budget I set out to do just that. I believe I've partially succeeded with the list of mods I've done above. Of course there is always room for improvement, I hope to get a new set of shoes for him in the future, putting on some eyelids to give him more emotion, and maybe better suspension. Basically whatever money I can drum up to spend on Mr.Fit, I'll want to do it, much to the consternation of my wife. Having a faithful sidekick can get kind of expensive!
Mr.Fit: Psssst, K.I.T.T's a cylon dood!

Mr.Married: Illegal smuggling of Indigo Kay Echo Alpha goods.
Mr.Fit: My ass hurt after that day. And you scratched my plastic, you heartless bastard.
Mr.Married: Good luck to everyone, I hope you had fun reading my post as I had writing it
. I think we all have a Mr.Fit inside of us ha ha.
Mr.Fit: Pretty sure its just you man.
Thanks to Fitfreak.net for setting up the monthly contests and AJ Racing for providing an awesome grand prize and 2ndary prizes.

Hey, everyone, here's my SSM Fit Sport AT:

I'm not a speed demon per say, but I'm more interested in light to light acceleration. I love the feeling of hard acceleration!

That "sucked into your seat" feeling.

Obviously, when your going fast, you want to stop fast hence my front brake upgrade...

Ok fine, here's my brakes:

not nearly as good.
Anyway, obviously the most important part of driving is being able to see, so
6000K Headlights and 3000K Foglights should be suffice!

Anyway, there's my story and here's my end:

And one for good measure:

Hello everyone. I got my fit few months ago because my dodge kept breaking down and I wanted a reliable car. I researched and researched and fit was my choice
. I've had some other choices but I don't regret getting this car one bit. So far, I am loving my fit, because I can drive many friends around and also lots of room for moving things/etc. I mostly use my fit to go school, going out with friends, etc.
Things I would like to improve would be more work done on suspension and power. This car is pretty much stock and I've been thinking about getting a sway bar but I ended up using my money on new guitar
Unlike my old dodge, I've never had any problems with this car so far and I am loving it
.
Here are some pictures...

random picture at a park!

under the hood... stock

got a scratch on back bumper when i was moving a desk from my sister's apartment!

I can carry lot of things on my trunk like tennis racket, camera, or a person (wouldn't recommend it)

time for oil change!
Thanks everyone...btw what kind of oil do you guys use?

Illusive's Entry!
Well, unfortunately, my Fit is in no shape for new pictures as it is in the middle of a small transformation. As much as I wanted to have her together before this month ended for entry into the July FOTM contest, I just couldn’t pull it off. Anyways, here is what I have to date and some dated photos for all of you to see.
I picked up this car mainly for its utility and handling. It wasn’t going to win any drag races, but I’m more into taking corners comfortably than trying to go down a road as fast as I can. So far, the Fit has not disappointed me! As much as I wanted to keep my head out of the aftermarket support for this car, I just couldn’t resist and ended up doing quite a bit of modifications even though it doesn’t seem like it.
Despite its smaller engine and stature, I want this car to surprise people wherever I go not only by how it looks, but by how it drives. I’m continuously trying to find new ways to improve all facets of the driving experience.
INTRODUCTION: MY INITIAL THOUGHTS
The stock Fit already possessed excellent handling, but of course there is always room for improvement. The L15A motor only provides 109HP from factory. There is a lot of room to move here, and I am always considering other options to help improve this aspect of the car. The standard brakes I found were adequate for daily driving. I know many people consider drum brakes to be dated, but I believe with the size of the Fit, it is not necessary to upgrade the rear drums to disc brakes unless I’m planning on taking her to the track all summer long. When I first saw the Fit overseas, I couldn’t help but take a second look as it is definitely different from the other choices we have here in North America. Even though Honda took a few years (possibly the final year of the current Fit’s life cycle), I still found it to be visually appealing despite some of the changes made to meet North American standards. However, I knew there was going to be a lot of aftermarket interest in this car (it is a Honda after all), so I knew I could make subtle changes to make my Fit an expression of myself.

I got a lot more planned out for my Fit, including some stuff I don’t wanna disclose at this point. Some of the Calgary guys know what it is, but I wanna keep it a secret on the forum until I get it all together
I’m hoping to have all of my Summer 2007 goodies on my Fit by the middle of August!

WHAT A SURPRISE!
I didn’t know how handy having the Fit would be. Because of the utility of the car, I was able to pick up ALL of my parts if they weren’t dropped off at my door! Makes life much easier than having to arrange for someone with a van or truck to help me out. It also came in handy when I helped my grandparents move from their home to an apartment downtown.

WHAT’S NEXT?
What am I up to next? Well I did want to go full coils, and I already gave that route a try, but it is just too rough for our roads here in Calgary. So I guess I’m looking into new struts in the near future. Depending on how long I plan on keeping my Fit, I could be in the market for a Turbo or a Supercharger to give it a real big power gain. Other than that, I really can’t think of any other significant modifications that I want to do. Maybe some odds and ends here like door sills or the JDM Chrome Door Handles. I guess you can say I’m trying to enhance all aspects of my Fit, not just in one part. My Fit I believe is a true representation of myself and is a rolling expression of my personality.
I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me out with my Fit! My car would not be where it is without you guys! In no particular order:

Thanks to all of the members who've chosen to support the forum and buy FitFreak.net decals! Special thanks to everyone who thinks I've contributed to the forum and given me positive reps! I appreciate it!

As for my secret power, it helps that my wife is absolutely CLUELESS when it comes to car's, so my skills aren't THAT good

AJ Racing Contest
I owned a red 1996 Civic hatch which became a hand-me-down to my brother. For my high school graduation present, my parents bought me a red 1999 Civic EX. I had a blast modifying the D16 engine, but had trouble with the transmission, especially on an automatic. After five years later, I came across the Spoon Fit on the internet and fell in love all over again. I sold my Civic and got the first MT Fit Sport to hit Tacoma, WA. With offering so much versatility, this car was the perfect fit for my lifestyle.
Three months after I purchased the Fit I got married. This car was great for carrying all the presents we received.

I work at an alternative school. All the students missed my modified 1999 Civic EX, but I told them that the Fit is capable of doing so much more.

My wife and I enjoy telling others how much MPG we achieve from our cars. Her Yaris may kick my butt in MPG, but I still enjoy driving mine more.

Since I got married and currently saving up to move to California, it has been tough staying away from buying aftermarket parts for my car. However, I still have time to enjoy my hobby in the tuner world.

My wife doesn't encourage me to spend money on modifying my car, but I still get to have a little fun sometimes... even with a stock Fit.

So, to work on my Fit without spending so much money I try to do little touches, such as painting my rims black and calipers red.

The thing I enjoy most is that I can relax and spend time with both of my loves.

I graduated with a BA in film and saving up to move to California to make it into the film industry. My wife told me, once I land a job down there then I can start to modify my car (intake, headers, exhaust). But until then, thank you AJ-R for holding a contest like this which allows others to enjoy the tuner world.

Tunerize my Fit, J's Racing
Name:Jeimusu86
It was love at first sight when I first saw the Fit. The tuner scene for honda hadn't released a hatchback for years besides the civic SI...and when it finally came out with the JDM Fit in america I was going crazy for it.

I use the Fit normally for daily driving, but I also use it to carry my DJ equipment [Technics turntables & Speakers] for the BBoy Sessions, Jams, and miscellaneous parties. So the first mods I did was to tint the windows so that no one could see any of my turntables in the back [the spacesaver seat feature is awesome], and 17x7 sportmax racing rims...
However hauling all that weight is a pain for my engine so my wishlist is to add some horsepower to the engine through...
J's racing Turbo charger, Spoon cam gears and cam shaft, 4-2-1 headers, J's racing exhaust, short ram intake, and Hondata racing chip...[that's the shortlist version
]

Some outside activities I've done with the Fit, is joining the Honda Fit club at my school at LMU. I've always been in love with the tuner scene so hopefully J's racing can help me catapult my Fit into a tuner car...thanks and best wishes to everyone else

My Fit
From the instant I got my learners permit at EXACTLY fifteen years and six months of age, I have loved to drive. I learned to drive on my mother’s 1994 Mazda protégé with a five speed manual transmission. It was not a very nice car by any means, and it wasn’t even mine, but it served me well through high school and two years of college on different sides of the country.
One day I parked the Mazda in my parents’ driveway, and went inside for the night. When I came back out the next morning, I turned the key, and was greeted with silence.
The king was dead.
At this point I had been eyeballing the Fit for months, and even had some money and a job to make the payments, so I put one on order.
I picked my Milano Red Honda Fit Sport two and a half months later. I didn’t even test drive the car. I had been lurking on these very forums for months, done my research and decided that the Fit was to be mine. I walked into the dealer, saw the car, drooled a little bit, signed up for my payments and left. It was beautiful. It was MINE.
The day after I picked it up in Atlanta, Georgia, I packed up my things, and drove up to Kettering University in Flint, Michigan to start work on my degree in Mechanical Engineering.
That drive will be the most memorable of my life. The shifter was smooth and precise, and rewarded me with a satisfying “click” with every shift. The clutch was light yet responsive, and the engine gave me 39.5 MPG. A far cry from the Mazda with a squeaky shifter, rusted clutch linkage, and 25 MPG.
During my Co-Op work term, I had a chance to take my Fit to an autocross day. It was honestly some of the most fun I have had in a car. A Corvette car club sponsored the event, and my friends and I comprised the only three non-Corvettes present.
The day went smoothly, and I even ended up wiping the floor with a couple of Corvettes. I was so proud of my little Fit, but was disappointed in the fact that mine was the only car to run that day and make no noise. My baby was silent. This had to change.
Since then, I have managed to scrape together enough cash to add the Aspec axel-back and cold-air intake, along with a Scangauge II. I am very satisfied with my work, and am confident with my installation skills. I wish I had the funds to add a performance part as nice as the T1R 50S exhaust system, but as of yet I have to stick to the cheap stuff.
If I win this contest, I will install this exhaust system myself in the parking lot of my school with nothing but hand tools and some ramps, and it will make my Fit that much more unique. It will make my Fit that much more mine.
Here are some pictures of my Fit. I don't have any of me actually driving because no one at my school (formerly named General Motors Institute) will help me photograph my foreign car, but I do have a few of it looking better than any of the domestics I've seen around here. Thats generally what I use her for around here, anyway. Showing those domestics whats up!

Here you can see the work I've put into my engine compartment.

My fit shining bright after 3 coats of wax

Another shot my fit in all its glory.

My Aspec exhaust that I installed myself (in the rain I might add!).

The girlfriend likes the fit, too! This is probably my best "action" shot.

Thanks to everyone, and good luck to all who have entered!
It was MINE.

i got my fit in november 1st 06. she was my christmas/graduation present.
my first choice of color was the tw because i saw a picture of sttich's fit and man it certainly got me to want one right off the bat.
my second choice of color was the black which they did have at the riverside dealer when i went, but they also had the bom.
at first i thought the bom was too showy and really bright but my bf convinced me long enough to get the bom fit instead of the black.
now after having my fit for about 9 months i love her soo much.. shes just soo sexy and i love how she catches people's attention.
sadlly, i had a little accident with her in Jan of this year.. so far for lucky 2007.
poor fit.. its just a minor scratch on the bumper good thing, but i still gotta save money to get that fixed.
right now my fit is completely stock except for the tinted windows. i made plans to save money for mods like springs, cai, led tail lights, hids and head light projectors (when they come out).
thats a lot of money for me to save cus im just a freshmen in college and i have to work my butt of at CPP to make more money later. my family's not the "rich" type so i cant always get everything that i want.
i just turned 18 yesterday so now i have to take responsibilities for my own actions and my own wants. no more begging to mommy and daddy.
i take my fit almost everywhere i go like soon to CPP everyday, to disneyland, mall, when i run errands, bf's house, friends' house, etc. she makes me feel at home and so comfortable when im driving her around. shes like my barrier, my moving bubble who comforts me when im sad.
i really do want to apply the title "speedy demon" to my fit but you know a stock fit doesn't go really fast, so i do want to her to accelerate faster and have those rear drum brakes replaced with disk brakes so i can prevent those accidents from happening.
one day she will be a "speedy demon" and show other people that this little fit can kick butt!
my fit accompanied me on my first day at CPP for my orientation

my fit and i saw a lot of sheeps and horses while we were at CPP

we just love going out together

look at her go! vroom vroom

my bf was trying out a new camera

the light rain made her really dirty

she was begging for a bath and i had to give her one and now shes all nice and clean

i had to give her a kiss before she got dirty again

thats me and my fit!
good luck to everyone!!!
