Yea its around that time frame..If we leave Saturday morning I agree we have to leave at least by 7:30. The location is fine by me.

 

Well I called around and could not find a place to give a big enough discount for the amount of people who told me they would stay the night on Sat. My wife and I are heading out on Fri. afternoon. We are staying at my parents property in Sheridan. So I'll meet up with you guys in Austin.

 

So i was talking to my brother and if he's down the we are driving over on friday night to stay in austin prolly till sunday. Btw i'd be driving from Lafayette, LA

Lemme know any updates you have on the hotel situation, I'd be staying friday and sat. night most likely. The cheapest i was able to find was $55/night at The Red Roof Inn Austin North, which is on I-35 and hwy 183

If you know of a better place or something else available lemme know i'd bring a tent if i had too lol.

Hopefully we can get some more people before this things happens

 

Houston guys leaving Sat. morning sounds best to me-- and that 290 and Beltway 8 location is perfect. It's not 3 hours though-- more like 2 hours 15 min. or so. maybe 2.5, but not 3 hours (not of driving time anyway), but to actually get to our final meeting place may put us closer to 3.

Either way 7:30 a.m. sounds like the best time.

Updates. Cranked up the car last night, my car will be out today for sure. Putting it on the Dyno and checking out gains.

 

NICE! At least one FI Fit in attendance after all. DAMN I wish that Kraftwerks kit was ready. I am so antsy with this cash-- I almost bought a set of Volks over at ASAA Racing yesterday.

As for an exact spot to meet up at 209/bw 8, I live right near 290 & 610 so I will buzz down there today and scope out a spot and let you guys know.

Man i wish i had time to stop in houston and look at some of these shops you guys are talking about because i don't have any shops around here. All i have is pictures on the internet to go off of and video and soundclips on youtube. I haven't seen any tricked out fits in my home town either so i'm really itchin to hook mine up
