Take a peek at the B Spec kits.

With good tires and some light weighting (light weight tires, ditch the spare, the passengers seat and delete that rear seat (it weights 300! lbs) you'll be closer to 2000 lbs than 2500 lbs).

Just to give you an idea, with a gutten interior, AUTOMATIC transmission, good race tires, I took on a turbo Porsche, older C6 Corvette and M3. While I could not beat them in a flat out race, I was always on their butt... ALWAYS. At the end of the race their best time was only .7s faster than my best time. This was a car that dynoed 92 hp to the front wheels. they probably put that much HP to their ACCESSORIES.

anyway, the drive is 10x more than any car... fast car slow, or slow car fast... i choose the latter.

Im sure nobody here will doubt you on that. I know first hand, my wife owns a bmw x3 and maintenance is expensive even if your a do it yourselfer......people seem to give the audi the edge even though its a pig of a car..im also a better driver than my bud with audi. I just wish thoose track events and clubs that go out to PBIR were not so damn expensive.

Impressive weight reduction!!!

Any clue what the F/R bias/% ended up at?

The SCCA class I am CONSIDERING, building my Fit for has a "minimum weight" of 2062 for a FI Fit... That may not be as easy to get too as I thought!

I Was Sitting In The Car So I Didnt Get The Bias. Maybe Next Time Ill Ask I Took Out A Ton Of Stuff And Still Dont Have A Cage. I Can Take Out A Bunch Of STuff Under The Dash Like Ac And Nonsense But Thats It. For Honda Challenge Ill Do A K24 Cause The Weight Is 2575 Or Something Like That. IM Still Doing The Math Though To See If I Can Just Do K20 W/ 2375

Hmm, I was looking into it for SCCA Street Modified FWD... But I will be up against EF's (mostly CRX's but a few Si Hatches) that have had to add weight to make minimum... with either built or boosted B swaps...

i take both my cars (90 crx turbo[212hp@7psi]and 10 fit sport) out to millermotorsports park here in UT, and on the same wheels and 140TW tires on half track (2.4miles) the cars are within 13 seconds on clean laps, i dare say the fit is every bit as fun to track as the crx in the corners, but nothing beats the feeling of passing a vette or any car with a bigger motor for that matter on the straights, i sometimes ratter track the fit because i WILL NEVER have to call a tow truck for the 30 mile drive home, i haven't needed to with the CRX yet but it's just a matter of time when one boosts a car that was never meant to be.
i say just go lay down a time and see how much he spent to be a few seconds faster than you - he'll give you respect and if he doesn't well those are the type of people that have to buy fast cars and i just walk away and hope i run into them as i'm pumping low octane fuel into my 40mpg fit at a gas station
