I dont really think he needs a slip. If the EF CRX can run 16.5 stock back in 89 I dont see why the Fit cant. Similar power and weight. New and better designed motors. Its all driver. Which is why I asked for 60 foots. 60's make the 1/4 mile times.
If hes getting 2.5's 2.4's in the 60's then thats why hes running 17's. If he's getting 2.1's and what not he cant driver after the 60's. (bad shifting)

After at least 20 runs down the strip, my best is 16.9@79mph, completely stock, with a best 60ft of 2.5xx. If I could pull a 2.4 or 2.3 (highly unlikely) that would translate to a possible 16.5 (very highly unlikely) stock. Maybe with intake/header/exhaust it would be possible.
With IHE and a cam in my 89 CRX Si I was able to pull multiple 14s runs with a best of 14.82@93mph (edit: 2.2xx 60ft)- I hope the Fit can be just as responsive to bolt-ons. Even at over 350,000 miles, it still hits 15.3@91, and gets close to 40mpg and the untouched bottom end still doesn't burn oil between oil changes.

I ran a 17.6 on 87oct. full tank of gas and NO vtec on the car. car is stock. I had problems with my controller so had to unplug vtec from the ecu, but will have vtec on this week. might got to the track to see a better time. I'm sure i'll click off a 16sec pass?
Hey guys... take this into consideration as well when looking at 1/4 mile times ppl post.
I live in Calgary Alberta Canada and the elevation here is higher than most cities in North America. When I ran my 2000 B16A Civic Si at the local track the fastest time I could post in stock config was a 16.8, after gutting the interior and adding I/H/E I was able to bring that number down to 16.0.
I was shocked to see these numbers out of a 160hp Si.. but when I spoke to local racers they said that your times in Calgary will be about a second slower than US posted times due to the elevation difference. So my times were almost right on par with the tests posted in magazines of mid to low 15s.
Just cause someone can run faster than you or faster than the mags take this factor into consideration.. as well as track temp and air temp as well as those make huge differences too.
