Window Tinting

Looking for a good place to get the windows in my 2009 Fit Sport tinted. I'm in the Burlington / Elon area but work i Raleigh. I can hit Raleigh or Greensboro if the vendor is good..

I wanted to post the same thread, but since this one exists does anyone know of a quality tint shop in the same areas as described? My gf wants to tint her 2012 fit and I would like to use 3M film if possible.

Anyone? Anyone?

3 year old thread. I wouldn't have my hopes up for answers.

Oh I know, it was a total shot in the dark. But hey, you replied!

Did some of my own research, so maybe this might help others that find this thread one day:

Tinted Image Inc. (http.www.tintedimage.com) In Raleigh looks like they do nice work. Spoke with the owner and was quoted $499 for 3M Crystalline on all 9 windows. Owner seems very nice and easy to talk with. This is my number one pick. They are also open on weekends by appointment. Good ratings on google searches too.

Second choice is Raleigh window tinting (3M Raleigh Window Tinting - Automotive Window Film Dealer). Couldn't get a live person, but they were highly recommended by another window tint shop that only does residential tinting now.

Third is Total Vehicle Preparation (Clear Bra - 3M Paint Protection Film - Window Tinting | Serving Raleigh, NC Area) also in Raleigh. Impressive website, but only open during the week by appointment. Update: Quoted $550 for 9 windows.

I e-mailed for quotes for the 3M Crystalline. Will update as soon as I get responses.

Final result:

Raleigh window tinting never responded back to me, so we decided to go with Tinted Image. $500 for 3M Crystalline and $100 for 3M protective film under the door handles, behind the front wheels and rear apron under the hatch.

Here are pics of the final results: 70% on all front glass except windshield and 40% on all glass behind front doors.

Not everyone needs/wants limo or a dark tint.

Don't think I ever said that. I just commented on how light it was. Limo tint is 5% by the way. 20% is no where near as dark as limo tint.
