09 fit sport a.c. issue

So I'm having an issue with my a.c.. When it works it blows cold. The problem is it cuts off with no warning. Seems to cut out most when rpm goes above 3000rpms. If I cut the a.c. power button off and then cut it back on, it may cut back on right away. Sometimes I may have to do it a dozen or more times. Also seems to cut off more frequently if the air vent is on recirculate instead of outside air. I may go a day without having a problem and then it'll happen a bunch of times in a row. It seems to be worse on really hot days.

My thought after doing some research is its the compressor clutch and that apparently removing one of the shims would remedy this problem as the magnets can weaken over time. I'm open to all suggestions everybody please chime in! Thank you all & have a great day.

Could just be low on refrigerant. I would check that first it can cause intermitten cooling.

I fix our daughter 2009 Fit AC problem of cutting out and blowing warm or hot air after 20 minutes of driving with removing the shim on the AC pulley. A 15 minutes job. 10 minutes to jack up the car and place it on jack stand and remove plastic wheel cover in front of the compressor. 5 minutes to zip off the bolt with my small impact driver and remove the shim and zip the pulley back onto the compressor. It's been working fine since last summer.
