2012 Fit electrical issues. Fuse 1 blows. OBD, locks, security issues
I posted the following in another forum but I haven't gotten any good advice just yet. I'm hoping maybe someone here can help. Thanks!
Details: 2012 Honda Fit Sport. Manual tranny.
Car was working perfectly. One morning I went to go somewhere and the key fob wouldn't unlock the doors. Changed the battery in the fob. Still nothing. Manually unlocked the door. Started the engine and the alarm went off. After some checking, no ODB II interface, no stereo, no door locks and the alarm sounds for two minutes if the car is started or a door is opened. Car runs fine...but my neighbors are irritated at me!!
I started to check the fuses and got as far as fuse 1 and it was blown. Replaced it and it blew again almost instantly. I have not checked any other fuses just yet because to be honest, I'm not a young person anymore and getting myself folded upside down in the wheel well kinda sucks. I can do it, but it would be ideal if I knew exactly what I was going for.
I'd love to be able to check the OBD code but that interface is dead, too.
Any ideas? Any help would be most gratefully received.
Thanks,
Ted
