Hey all. Just purchased an 09 fit. Getting a downstream 02 sensor code. Figured that's an easy fix but I am stumped.

The wire from the cat goes straight into the engine bay behind the engine...from there it appears to be spliced in and by feel, I can not find anywhere it is connected... The new sensor of course has a plug.

Online I have found where it shows the connection should be just below the upstream connection, but that does not seem to be the case. Any clues why this would be?
