Question

Hey guys, I want to paint the lettering on my valve cover instead of polishing it or painting the whole thing. My question is where would I get a can or bottle of high temp paint for that instead of the spray can kind that I find at parts stores and Walmart? Should I head to Home Depot?

Would high temp paint be necessary...?

I know there was somebody on here who painted there valve cover purple... but I don't remember who it was. If they could shed some light on what they did/used, that would be awesome.

I don't think it would be neccessary. Just regular old auto paint would be fine. Use a name brand, not the buck-a-can spray sold at Home Depot or Lowes. (Actually the cheap Home Depot stuff is made by Dupli-Color).
