engine light flashing D

I have 2007 sport automatic, I was just driving when my engine light came on and the D on the dash started to flash? I was doing about 115km at the time and had the cruise on, it felt like the car dropped down to forth gear, It would not let me change gears with the paddle shifters.

Sounds like a transmission control problem. Page 151 of the 2007 US owners manual says this is an indication of a tranny control problem. Sounds like dealer time.

The dealer thinks it is the imput shaft sensor, they said they have reset it and the replacement sensor is on back order (there must be a reason these are on back order? They also changed the srs wiring harness while they had the car.

no. everything on the fit is back-ordered because they have to order it from japan. It took them 3 weeks to get a weatherstripping on my drivers side door!! 3 weeks!!! It's a killer wait.

They might as well said it was caused by the type of shoes you are wearing. I have a few mods and the dealership has never said a thing except we can't do an allignment because youre car is low and we don't want to damage it (then recomended a place to go).

wow, that is serious bull. which dealer is it? Take it to another Honda dealer, just b/c one denies, another one might not do the same.
