Anyone in the CT area want to help me out with springs?

I know this is kind of a long shot but I don't have too much mechanical experience and I want to try to change out my springs with the help of someone more experienced and learn more about my car (as opposed to staying reliant on a shop).

Would anyone be kind enough to help out? Let me know.

[Edit] Oh, and my friend is helping out too but neither of us has done a spring install.

My main thoughts would be:

1) Have the Honda Shop Manual and read the suspension section thoroughly.
2) Make sure you have the proper tools and parts before you begin (a nice spring compressor is worth the money).
3) Wait for warmer weather (I might be able to help you then, but there is no way I'd do it in the winter).

springs

I am one to change things -- for better performance anyhow. Which Fit do you have? Sport or base? FYI -- the Sport is faster than a Corvette 06 through the slolom. Meaning the suspension is spot on. Any different springs you put on will probably make it handle worse. You want to do it for looks that is totally up to you. I am in Granby and could help.

Yep, they have been on for a while now but thanks so much for the offers! Oh, and for your information the Fit with GF210 handles SO much better than stock! Feels like it's absolutely on rails, and brake dive is only barely noticeable on really heavy braking. The GF210 are tuned for performance, the lower drops are mostly for looks.

Cool! Nice to hear a testimonial that things came out well.
