how much does scheduled maint. cost you?

going in for A1 tomorrow, figured it might be a good idea to get an idea of what everyone pays for scheduled maintenance. A1, B1 etc.

anyone?

dealer costs only please...I don't need to know that you are a). smarter than me, b). cheaper than me or c). handier than me

I didn't get my first oil change at the dealer, but I would expect an oil change (at the dealer) should be about $80 here in Texas with non synthetic 5w20.

i called the honda dealer what an oil change was and i think they said 27 bux i cant remember exactly, but i wound up taking mine to the acura dealer thats closer to my house and paid 35 (just a reg oil change - and free wash-==- plus as much free coffee as i could drink lol) so i hope u didnt pay 80 for an oil change yikes

in the end i have no info to add to the a1 or anything bc all i ever had to do so far was 1 oil change

IIR, the first one is supposed to be free... someone correct me if I'm wrong.

In Northern CA, for an A1, the going rate at the dealership is $35 plus free wash and free roadside assistance for 6 months. They regularly send out coupons for discounts though.

I can't remember what the B1 is....

$10 for a car wash?

They're included with any service here.

I've had my LX Auto Fit just under 14 months now ... have had two services ... 1st one at 7797 km - A1 cost me around $50 cdn. (maint. minder was still at 20% but likely almost to 15% ... dealer is over an hour away and it was a convenient weekend ... just had my 2nd service at 15363 km - B1 cost me just under $200 cdn.

A1 was not to bad $32.00 CDN but for the B1 they want $118.00 and for what some visual check brake , exhauts so on. Too much money, I now due my own oil change and check $ 11.00 filter and new washer plus $18.00 for oil.

you can find instructions in the manual, but if i remember correctly it goes something like this:

push the button to get the the oil life, then press and hold the button until the oil life percentage starts to blink (around 10-15 seconds?), then release the button and press it down again and hold it until the percentage resets (another 10 or whatever seconds?)

just push the button and hold until something happens, then release and push it again until the resets pretty much sums it up.
