I recently had my oil analyzed by Blackstone Labs. I posted the results and got a lot of comments over at BobIstheOilGuy.

Below are the results of the analysis. Please note, I incorrectly listed the viscosity as 5w-30. The viscosity was 5w-20.

 

are you using amsoil still?

 

Won't waiting that long for oil changes void any engine warranties?

 

I'm still using Amsoil filters. The oil is RLI.

 

I think that waiting that long without any documentation would void a warranty but with oil analysis' in hand coupled with documentation of the oil and filters used I would be okay.

 

but oil changes are fun

 

nice. i wonder if mobil1 "fully synthetic" is actually 100% synthetic now-a-days.
