Door sill paint

the paint on the door sill is weak. I've noticed and i'll have to post some kind of pic up. My foot has worn away alot of the paint from getting in and out of the fit for the last year. I'm noticing more and more just how weak the paint on this car is. Everywhere on it.

you're not suppose to be dragging your leg and shoes on the paint.

lol at least you're honest man. I've scuffed it a few times. I like to park next to curbs so sometimes I gotta stand on the curb and when I get in sometimes my left foot will hit it, but I got FIT doorsills so it takes the brunt of the scuff lol

I will buy those clear protective film (same as the ones used in the front bumper for rock chips, etc.) on the door sill. You can buy Helicopter tapes (outdoor grade) from Amazon and they come w/ variety of sizes. Just cut to the right length and stick them to the door sills. They are way cheaper than expensive OEM door sills.

Good idea. I see it comes in different sizes, including a 4" x 12' roll. Could also be used for fog light lens cover and rear bumper applique.
Thanks for that!

Yup! That is an easy spot to cause a problem. That was one of my first mods - Mugen door sills - I love them and they look great.
