HUGE door ding!

I was washing my Fit just now, and saw a HUGE door scratch on the right front door. It's RIGHT in the middle and it's from a white car so it stands out like the sun on my Nighthawk Black. Should I try to cover it up myself with some OEM paint or just leave it be? I mean it's BIG. Like the size of my thump.

If you see the other car's color it may just be the paint from the other car and not a scratch. At any rate, when I had my WRX I got a door ding on it, and I had a paintless dent removal place remove the ding. It looked new. If you use a little rubbing compound to get rid of the other car's paint, you'll know if it's scratched or not. If it is, then you can try touching it up but don't go overboard. If it's dented then a PDR place will do a good job with it.

Try some Mothers clear coat polish. Its pretty good at removing paint transfer.
Remember to rewax.
