High Pitch whine emanating from dash at high speed.

I've noticed I get a strange whine that is sounds like it is coming from the dash or under the console area when over 80+mph. (Yeah I know I should not be driving this fast, but I'm out in the middle of nowhere when driving at those speeds) Anyone ever had this occur? My guess is it is airflow, rather than mechanical, otherwise I would throw a CEL? any suggestions?

can you describe what is running when the noise occurs like fan level, or which vents setting you have it on, or do you have a modified front body parts, or struct bar?

check around where u ran ur wires to ur battery though the firewall if u have air coming through there. also try to pinpoint if its a stereo noise or air.

I might disconnect the fuse at the battery to the stereo, the next time I plan to go that speed. I kinda figure it might be airflow at that speed, since the car runs fine, and has not had any type of code thrown. Not like I could have the dealership look at it, since it is at speed.

take some black silicone and put it around the hole that was cut and let it sit over night and that should stop the air from whistling in the car.
