exhaust manifold for L15a2 ?

ive heard the GE8 l15 (not sure on the last two digits for motor) has an integrated exhaust manifold? if so , i'm wondering if someone with the ge8 (i have a gd3, thank you.) could cut off the old OEM piping and weld on new piping to create there own header? lol. oh jebus, what am i saying.... just sell your ge8 and buy a gd3....

you mean L15A7?

Look on the block next to tranny to know for sure.

I suppose you could remove the close coupled converter and replace with mandrel bend but my guess is the LAF sensor won't like it. That converter is bolted to the cylinder head.

that whole system looks like you can just delete both the cats and put straight piping in its place. porting out the exhaust manifold will definately help.
