Did you know . . .

that a Fit can be push started successfully at 3mph . . . in reverse?

I was putting in more sound deadening on Saturday, and listening to the Red Sox game at the same time. Forgot about the grapefruit sized battery this car has, and killed it in less than 2 hours.

Figured I'd try push starting it before bugging my neighbor/landlord for a jump. It's a completely flat driveway, so I sat in the drivers seat with one leg out the door, pushing backwards Fred Flintstone style. Got it going as fast I could that way (still slower than I could walk), started running out of driveway. Figured what the hell, crunched it into reverse and dumped the clutch.

victory is mine.
