apexanimal, off topic question: you have a silicone elbow for your CAI (or Short ram)... how'd you cut the hole in it for the IAT sensor? How'd it work out? thanks

the elbow is actually aluminum, and would be considered a CAI. I used a small hole saw and grommet kit that you can get at any auto parts store... it's been flawless since i installed it many years ago.

Having a hard time sourcing the 3an - 12mm inverted fitting. Not sure the original one mentioned is still made.

Would either of these work?

I don't believe that is the correct part. Note the "P" at the end of the number now? It's a bubble flare and not an inverted flare. There used to be a non-P number, but I think it's discontinued.

i noted the p but didn't note the bubble flare - good catch.

from the two you listed, the earl's one is going to be preferred for me. I know this part was one of the most difficult to source...

be sure to post where you get yours from!

That was the conclusion that I came to as well. Ordered it and the other stuff yesterday. Mixed it up from the original items. I'll get the stuff and install and then report whether they worked or not. Hopefully will happen this weekend.

Just finished removing the CDV and all went fine. No problems that I'm aware of yet.

Here's what I used...
Earl's 592053ERL - Uniflare -3 AN to 12mm-1.0mm Brake Adapter
Earl's 989537ERL - Tubing Adapter Thread Size -3AN To 10mm x 1.0 Inverted Flare Female Honda
Aeroquip FBPA0039-16 - -03 Teflon Hose 16 inch Straight-90 degree

I could not find a place that sold all 3 items and didn't want to have two shipping costs, so I bought two items from Amazon and one from eBay all with shipping included. Total was just under $45.

Replaced from the master cylinder to the hard line with the 16" hose. Could maybe even go with a 14", but I wanted a little extra slack in case the line needs to go up or down a bit when I install the turbo kit.

Thank you! I was able to purchase ALL of these parts from Summit Racing for $32.66, free shipping for orders over $100. Will report back once installed

This guy removed the plastic valve and just reinstall. Is this possible to do the same on the fit?
