My auto door locks are noisy after it rains or when I wash the car. Obviously water is getting in there. Should I bother popping the panels or is this a dealer issue. Still under warranty. Anybody else getting this problem?

My question really. Are these supposed to be sealed items or do they need a good coat of grease/lubricant/ silicone spray? I would rather do that myself that way I know it will be done properly instead of trusting the techs at Honda.
