a driver hit and run my friend's honda fit 2010 driver side mirror .we bought a whole new mirror from amazon.

I want to open the Triangle black cover, on the back side of the mirror (inside the car) , does anybody know how I can do it?
for my previous car I used to push it to the left and it would open, I tried pushing it, but it was not moving I worried I break it.

Here is a pic of it, do you guys know how to open that part (I dont even know the name for that part)?

Pry it off with the screwdriver and it will just snap back on.
