P2101 - Control Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance - any experiences?

Hi all: thought I'd open a new thread. My dealer told me I need a new throttle body on the basis of this code. I was getting advice from another helpful user on another thread, but thought I'd throw this out in case. It's a 2009 Fit with very low mileage. I'm just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this code in some other way. Dealer is insisting that body needs to be replaced because it's electronic & no way to clean it. They checked the MAF sensor & claim no problems. The hits I'm coming up with on line don't indicate replacement is needed. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's a really rare problem. I'd just get it replaced, maybe just an unlucky part.

Yes, that's pretty much the advice I've been getting. Really unlucky. Thanks very much for responding.

Any update? Did replacing the throttle body resolve the issue?

MY UPDATE:
I had to replace the throttle body. Honda's are pieces of shit now. So sad to see them go from top dog back in the late 90's early 2000's to what they have become now. I'm done with this brand. Off to Tesla for my next car.
