Dashboard died while driving
So I was driving yesterday and saw that my 2007 Fit Sport's dashboard had suddenly lost all gauges. No tach, speedo, odometer, fuel gauge etc. The car seemed to keep running fine. At my destination I tried stopping and restarting the engine, pulling the battery, but the gauges and most of the indicators remained dead.
I put a scan tool on it and found it was throwing three codes:
P0141
P0443
U0155
The first two seem to be emissions related and I'm not sure where those came from. The light was not on before this. The third code seems to indicate a lost connection to the gauge control module, which makes sense.
Looking in the under-dash fuse box I found the number 3 10A fuse blown. I replaced it but it just blew again on starting the car.
Anyone have an idea what's going on here? The only thing I can think of that preceded this was a rattle sound at idle or low speeds, something in the area of the engine that I hadn't specifically isolated. Otherwise, I'm at a loss. TIA
