electrical issue on my 2007 fit :( please help!!!

hello everyone Im new to this site...I was told i would get some good feedback from this place. So i have a 07 fit and i was on the freeway when it turned off on me and it was making a clicking noise by the fuse box inside the car, also it sounded like the fuel pump was making a sound....after about 20 mins it stoped and it turned back on fine but it would not go pass 20mph my check engine light came on i was lucky to make it home. the next day I hooked up a code reader and got error code P0685 and car is still making that clicking sound I erased all codes and it comes back on instantly BUT the weird thing is that if i erase the codes and leave the code reader hooked on the car runs fine with no CEL...? never seen this happen...please help me I will appreciate any good feedback thank you all!!!

P0685 - Engine Controls Ignition Relay Control Circuit (PCM)

You got the code why not do the leg work to find out what that code is telling you? simply clearing a code doesn't fix the problem.

I know it wont fix the problem but could that be making the car run fine when the code reader is hooked in? because if i disconnect it then it wont turn on.
