U0122 Diagnostic Code Problem

Used OBD2 Scanner and received error code U0122 - Lost Communication With Vehicle Diagnostics Control Module

What does this mean??

Also hearing a humming/whirring noise on acceleration and deceleration at low speeds. Noise increases and Decreases with RPM. Sound is also heard when car is shut off and rolled down hill in neutral. Ruled out wheel bearing as sound is not heard on cruising, and no vibrations car drives and feels perfect transmission feels perfect. Help

Here's some more details on the U0122 code: https://www.obd-codes.com/u0122
That sounds pretty weird, i'd take it to a shop instead of trying to DIY for this particular code.

The noise issue sounds tire related.

UPDATE.

Thanks for the reply bro.

So I took it to the shops and I was told that the U0122 code that was triggered its not an issue with the car. Its more of the diagnostic scan tool used and the ECU. ECU logged that code because it couldn't connect with the scan tool that I used. No check engine light is triggered and car feels perfect. So I think i'm just going to ignore that.

The noise i have been hearing however haven't gotten a diagnosis for that as yet. I've had those tyres on the car for about 6months now just recently hearing this sound.
