Angry Window Switch Recall Issue

I walked into our local Honda and walked out with an appointment for a 2nd attempt to fix a already attempted fix in the window switch which when it takes on H2o caused some guy in Africa to RIP and thus a Recall is born. This as you may know is a whole new unit they replace it with and not just some plastic weather striping that is used behind the door panel. I took the old one out a day before the recall was to be performed as to make sure no clips were going to get broken(fooled me once) This is what it looked like. Nice job guys. If they were going to recall anything on this car it should have been the waterfall that happens in the driver rear door and hatch welds. Useless waste of time. First off to have a second recall performed was just as much insulting. I made the mistake of leaving the old unit in the car after removing it and the Tech took it . I actually checked to see if anything else was missing lucky for me they just took back their faulty garbage but it would have been my garbage to do what I want with. I suppose it is safer to have the unit destroyed and never put into another car that could cause a fire. But this being said I think shame on Honda to try to cover up pathetic first attempts of safety recalls by taking back their hardware. I can only compare in the future, the number on the back of the new unit with this one.
Look at those gaps in the corners.

I know, RIF, but I'm confused. The white plastic sheeting around the switch module is the !st recall fix?

I just had this second recall done about a month ago. I wondered why I was getting more recall notices even after the job was done the first time about 4 years ago. I thought I made a mistake taking it back to the dealer because I thought they were just going to do the same thing they did already.

I'm glad they decided to improve the design.

Thanks for the info.

I had the recall done in September and a few days ago I found my driver side making a buzzing noise only when I use the auto window switch on my side. I went in today and they have fixed the issue but they broke one of the tabs and found that there's a huge gap between the front part of the armrest and the cover.
