Door lock problem

hey guys,

My door lock/unlock switch doesn't work.
- door lock/unlock works great with remote. It just doesn't work with driver side door lock switch.

Other symptoms:
My fit's door locks and unlocks by itself for few seconds after I get in the car. Afterwards it doesn't make noise at all.

What I've done:
- verified that door lock/unlock switch is good using multi-meter and performing continuity test.

Since, door lock/unlock works with remote, I'm inclined to rule out actuator as being problem.

Am I on right track here?

Sure sounds like the switch is shot. Was there not a recall on the GD for a door switch? I do not recall the exact details.

I got my recall done already.
Are you thinking door lock switch right near where the window control is?
I tested those and they work good...

Yes that it the one I mean. Even though your testing said it was OK.
