2007 Fit Sport, Antenna repair

I recently bought a 2007 Fit sport, and it came without the antennae. Or so I though. Apparently the previous owner had broken it off inside the mount, so when I went to replace it the antennae would not go in fully. (Pictured)

I was wondering what the easiest way to get that part of the screw out.

I though of that too. But I'm curious if the antennae holder comes off, and does the screw hole go all the way through. Because it would be a lot easier to push it through them to pull it back out.

Well. To remove the antenna base, you need to drop the headliner a little bit. Remove the weather seal rubber. Remove the child seat clip panel. Detach your C pillar trim. Then drop the headliner. There is one screw holding the antenna base.

I doubt there is a hold through it to do all this just to find out. Water isn't supposed to go thru there. But hey, the guy may have damaged the antenna base anyway.
