08 Fit AC Condenser Fan Clip

I'm trying to replace my ac condensor fan, but this blue clip won't come out, are there any way to remove this clip? Thanks

I can see the tabs on the back side of the clip are exposed, squeeze them together with needle nose pliers while pulling or prying on the clip.

Or just pry the damn clip off of the shroud by force....You can surely secure the harness with a zip tie later on?

I tried it, but it was too big to get into the clip. Any one else has an experience with these?

Get the shroud free and pulled away enough to get behind the clip with pliers

Or just pry the clip out of the plastic shroud and don't worry about ruining the clip, you can zip tie the harness in place when you reassemble.
