P0847 Code on 2010 Fit

Hi folks,
I have a 2010 Honda Fit LX that just gave me a P0847 Code (Transmission Fluid PressureSensor/Switch B Circuit Low). Could there be something more serious causing this code than an issue with the wiring leading to the sensor, or the sensor itself? In other words, could this be indicative of something major wrong with the transmission? Or fluid levels? I don’t want to just replace the sensor if actually trying to warn me that something else is wrong. Thoughts?

Thanks,

Hip

Those sensors are always going bad. Mine gave me PO848. Very Very common problem. It is fortunately easy to fix. Jack up, remove that section of plastic sheild, un hook connector, unscrew old one and washer rescrew in new one and new washer put connector on finished. The only thing it is indicative is that those sensors are total crap.

About 20ml of ATF will leak out, buy a new crush washer they are sold separate.
