Manual Transmission Fluid change

I have a 2012 Honda Fit Sport, and I need to change the tranny fluid, but I don't have the tool to loosen the drain bolt. I don't even know what it's called, let alone what size it needs to be. It's like a big metal square that you put into the bolt to turn. Does anyone know what it's called and what size I need?

I just use an extension on my socket wrench - the square end fits and does the job. Can't remember if they were both 3/8" or 1/2" or one of each - too dark out to go look at the moment, but if you have socket wrench of each size you should have it covered.

Yea it's meant to take a standard 3/8 or 1/2 ratchet. No special tools required.

Hello Sonnington. Did you changed the transmission fluid? It is not a difficult service. I changed the fluid from my last year. Have you changed fluid from Honda's original fluid?
