To make this thread simpler i am wondering if 2.5 ID is okay starting place, and wondering from what has worked in past what a good routing for CAI is. I bought a Ebay intake not expecting it to work but on account i can cut and grind it into becoming something better since the overall parts cost, as someone who has fabricated cold air intakes before, was a lot more reasonable then ordering various mandrel bends myself.
Any pictures of what post-install kits like Injen or any (good) one featuring tubular design is really really appreciated, just to get a reference point to shoot for. My fears are that 2.5 ID may be a bit big but its a fun side project so if i can find a way to make it work then no sweat.
