Yes and no.
Thats +25whp over stock with JUST the SC kit, nothing else. Throw in headers and the injector upgrade, an you've got a significant boost. Dont forget that this is the "low boost" kit. If all goes well, we should see the 10 lb kit/upgrade available before summer. And if my speculations are correct, we may see numbers well over 200.

so you pay 4000+500 (header) and 250 )injectors for 200 hp? so 4750...why not just pay 1500 more for an engine swap... i think i'll just pay more to get another engine and THEN s/c that...just my 0.02 but thanks for the info

If you can't put down the power, then there is no point having too much power at your disposal. AJ Racing and their track car beat out swapped Fit's because it was designed to provide the optimal amount of power that the car can handle. The KW kit will provide similar gains. Also, the price of the SC with headers and injector kit is nowhere near the price you quoted. It'll all probably fall within $4000. And K swaps are not cheap, the last time I asked about that it was ~$8000-$10,000 for the engine, electrics, all the other necessary bits, and installation.

i understand that part but how is the s/c with header only gonna be 4000 the kit alone was like 3800 CAD right? (im talking USD BTW) i have found full swaps for around 5000 then i just buy the mounts...but also when you say track car are you talking drag or what? if its drag then whats the time? im trying to build a 13 sec car (13.99 or below) thats why im asking...i'm just doing research b/c i wont even get back home till june so i got time to look shit up

Supercharger retails for $3500, but you can get it with 10% off right now. Which kit were you looking at? Headers, depends on which one you get. If you can get a swap done for $5000, then that's a really good deal. Track car I mean a road race. Drag racing a Fit I don't think is worth it. Even with the swap, I don't think you can get to the 13's unless you put a lot of money into the swap. I think a SC or TC Fit will only bring you into the 15's. You might be able to break 15 and get in the 14's with a swap, but it'll take a lot of mods to bring it down that low. I'd suggest just getting a new car if you are going to use it as a drag car.

With the pre order the kit was $3150. You dont only need the motor and mounts. You need a custom header specifically for the K in a fit, U need custom axles, theres ALOT more and even doing the labor yourself your looking at about 7.5k-8k..... twice as much as the SC kit. or the AJR Turbo. Kswap is great and fast no doubt. If your goal is 13.99 then the Kswap will do that, But so will a high boost kit from KW or AJ-R.

FYI at 4500rpm the fit with injector package makes the same amount of torque as a S2000 at 4500rpm. As we all know HP means nothign if you dont have torque. Stock S2000s break 13s so a highboost Fit should easily do that while saving you $$. The reason I went FI instead if swap was because I didnt want to change the handling characteristics of the car too much on my daily driver. I dont care about going in a straight line.

well i need to buy the car first so the pre-order thing is out the window...lol so do you recommend the high boost kit from KW or the AJ-R? THANKS for all the info on the swap..like i said i'm still in the R&D phase...lol so you think i break 13's with the S/C w/ injectors, exhuast and header new t/b? (your personal opinion)

If you go High boost the kit comes with injectors., Granted the Highboost costs more than the base kit, but will still save you a few K. Highboost with boltons should break 13s i think.

I would think a S/C fit would be faster than a stock fit but still slow. If i had the money i would do it when i have the money I want to build an ek civic w/k20 swap and keep my fit as a gas saver,

what I don't understand is why, of all the SC fits out there, not one has been to the drag strip?

hell, even the turbo ones need to get there, but I mean seriously, you'll drop $4000 on a kit, but you won't throw down $20 to make a few passes at the track and show what your car can do?

wow 13s territory with the KW supercharger? i was expecting 15s, maybe even 14s, but 13 second range is a HUGE improvement compared to stock. that's crazy fast if it's true. can't wait to see someone hit the drag strip. somebody's gotta do it eventually!
