Problem with Injen CAI Install

To anyone who has installed their Injen CAI to the Fit, was it easy to relocate your ground wire harness? I could not do this step as I couldn't find a suitable location to re-bolt the ground wire, so i left it there and didn't install the vibration mount.

Is it dangerous to run the intake without the vibration mount?

If anyone was successful in moving their ground wire, how did you do it and what hole did you use to re-bolt it?

When you're facing the car, there is a bolt up and to the right from where the stock ground wire is. You remove it, and relocate the ground wire there.

I would highly suggest installing the vibration mount.

It's for an older edition Injen but the principal is the same.

How did you remove that colored bolt? Did you have air tools or were you able to do it with a socket?

Socket worked fine.

One thing I remembered, though - the ground harness has a little lip that needs to be bent flat in order for it to sit flush in the new hole.

Not sure... they were my brother's.

Probably Craftsman though...

That's odd that you can't get it off. You sure you're going for the right bolt? Maybe try a breaker bar, too...

that install looks redculious , i have never seen a CAI install that you had to remove a bumper and relocate a whole grounding bolt.. geez..
