Just finished Injen CAI install!!!!

Hey everybody,

Just bought an Injen CAI from Direct Tuning in chino hills (nice shop by the way). For the record, I have the 5AT, and so many people told us it was hard to install on it. I can tell you first hand that it's NOT at all and it fits perfectly! Required no cutting at all just a few bolts/screws/ and snaps. You do, however, have to take the bumper off but it's not as scary as it sounds, it's very easy actually. The sound alone is worth the hour or so installation time let alone how much better/smoother the power band is. I could not imagine being happier with a mod to tell you the truth... amazing product. If you don't know which intake to get and you have AT or MT, get the Injen you won't be sorry (so long as it's the newest one with the silicon connector tube and not the solid metal as it's alot more difficult to install especially with the AT). Pictures to come later in the week whenver I can get to it.

I also bought my Injen cai from the same shop in Chino Hills, but my car is a 5 speed. They did a really good job and the intake was worth the money. I can feel and hear a difference from the intake which makes the car even more fun to drive.

Same here. Injen CAI is nice.

they offer a hydroshield, but it's no more than a cover slip that goes over the intake cone. i'm wondering if it's worth it.

AEM has a bypass valve that seems a bit more functional and practical.
