aem cold air intake install info
hey whats up everyone , just wanted to know if anybody has intalled a aem cold air intake on thier fit . just wanted to know if you have to take off the front bumper to install it , and does it make a good difference though the rpm range ,and last how does it sound , thanx
dont have this intake but do know how to take off bumper... take off the four clips off the top of the bumper under the hood, and then take all the clips off from the bottom of the bumper, then one screw on EACH side of the wheel well then pull off
the AEM install is a lot like the INJEN install. you will have to remove front bumper (follow above instructions, it's really easy). the only weird part is when you pull the bumper away, it's going to be detaching from these mini-clips under the headlights. it'll sound like they are breaking but they aren't. if you have a Sport, you'll have to unhook your foglight connections too to move the whole front bumper away.
i think someone has already done a write up DIY on the Injen or AEM intake install on the forums. just search for it
