it's not as simple as just switching the ecu's there's more differences between our engines and jdm engines than just the dbw.

There should be enough vacuum though i mean a 1.5L is still a 1.5L no matter what the bore/stroke is.

And i looked into putting dbw itb's from a superbike on our cars (i was thinking CBR600RR though since they're 40mm itb's) but it looks like all the dbw itb setups on superbikes are actually........well the "wires" actually control tiny motors attached to the itb's and then the motors pull a throttle cable of some kind located right in the middle between all four itb's, personally though i think it would cost just as much if not more to "retrofit" superbike itb's onto our cars as it would to purchase a universal itb kit like this one:

4-ITB-KIT-40/45/48mm or Twin DCOE/IDF/IDA Web Bolt Pattern

do the dbw to cable throttle conversion and buy a AEM F/IC and boomslang harness to tune it all.

Personally the only thing holding me back is i don't know how to convert my car to run a cable throttle.

i dont think you guys understand how complicated it is to tune/keep tuned a ITB setup is. it will KILL daily drivability. you wont see any HP gains from it unless you are running 13:1 compression or higher and the only thing you will get from it is a little bit better throttle response until a few months pass and the tune you paid out the ass for isnt as good as when you first got it. if you want a little more throttle response, buy a throttle controller and a weapon r intake mani.

Alright so what itb setup have you ran in the past?

And i'm not worried about tuning for cable throttle, i just don't know how to actually modify the gas pedal.
