We like AWD, wy in winter we have snow and many road in mountain. AWD with snow it's a lover thing ! You can play and for security it's very very better.

But it's the same thing of the LSD on EP3. In Switzerland and UK we have LSD option in EP3 but all other EU country cannot buy LSD in option. If a French guy come in switzerland for mounting LSD by Honda Swiss, he lose the warranty in French.

I think Honda EU have think, don't necessary to import AWD or too less competitive, or too much price, i don't know but bad for me.

Honda sell many many many Jazz (FIT) here. It's impressive. I see minimum 4-5 Fit per day. Everywhere you go, you see a Fit.
The LSD sounds interesting, I think I have seen some sold for the Fit somewhere.....

So a lot of Fits there, good, as I know the premium costs and taxes that comes with buying a Japanese car in Europe (or at least did at one time).

A shame on the AWD, as I would imagine an AWD Fit would be a wonderful car. I think it would be very competitive in Europe in this form. We would never see it Stateside tho .

Could compete well with the small Audis..... Now, many years ago I would not consider a car unless it came from Europe, but in the last ten years that has changed, and if I had the option between Fit AWD and Audi A2 AWD, I know which I would take.

Now, back to the original post!

Good luck on the swap. Should be neat, and our cars in the US perform fine with the 1.5 motor.

So okay, for you guys in the US, L15 is your only choice but here in Europe it is not available...

So I decided to make you own GD3!!!

Got ECU to go with it and from intial cross referencing with my UK 1.3 and the workshop manual, it should be a straight forward swap.

Will have it ready for the big Japanese car show (JAE) end of July.

He never finished the swap as a customer made an offer he couldn't refuse on the Jazz so sold it. I was gonna have the engine but then found out bout a new arrival in the family so its on the backburner for a while. Don't know what happened to the engine though as he was pretty desperate to get rid bout 3 months ago as it was sat in a neighbours garage!!
