DME 4-1 header

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/me...de=DME-14-1003

Anyone know any info about this header?

Supposed to be stainless steel and 4-1.

Any guinea pigs around ?

Anything good about it? Its really nice lookin, I honestly like the look better than almost any header for the Fit. Smooth, simple, and its priced nice.

Price is like DC but this one is stainless.

it doesnt look like it gained much, if any at all? might have lost hp? it shows baseline dyno at 84.4hp/77.3 lb/ft and with a K&N typhoon/DME header/tanabe concept G axle back, it only gained 1.2hp/2.3lb/ft torque

Quickly looking at it I can it's poop.

No real collector. Pipes all merge at the flange which then goes directly to the cat. No flow acceleration potential,

Smile Headers

Honestly some of the best headers for the Fit are J's Racing Header, Mugen Header, DC Sport Header, T1R Racing Header and some will argue Megan Racing Header (2nd Gen)...which I have installed on my Fit...Stainless Steel, better design then the one you are interested in and almost half the price.
I currently have the CAI, Axle back combo along with the header and let me tell you it is a different car from every aspect! Lastly with a pretty small space where the header is located unfortunetly it is hard to admire your work. This is just MO. Hope this helps.

The fit is pretty limited with a DOT approved header since the cat is right at the header flange. For optimal power specially lower down and midrange the cat would have to me moved further back and a 4-2-1 header must be used. This would certainly add substantial gains, but would require a Completely new exhaust system.
