KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Thread 2.0!

Reminder to those eagerly waiting to install the supercharger the instant you get one: Now would be a good time to start filling up with the 91 octane gas.

I was wondering about that...so you should start getting the engine "used" to the high octane, or whatever process is taking place? We only have 87, 89, and 93 here in TX, so assuming I should go with the 93?
#345
You should only switch to 93 right before you install the kit to make sure you don't have any crap gas left in the tank when it's installed.
Before that it's not doing anything for you unless it's a high end sports car that has an ecu that will adapt to the fuel used by advancing timing and such.

I thought we only need a tank or 2 of 91 prior to installation? Should we really start using it now? I'm sure i'll go thru 4-6 maybe more tanks by the end of the month (I drive WAY TOO much lol). Ah what the hell, cant hurt too much, might as well start now...
Ship date?

Meh, sall good, just gauge how long it takes you to empty a tank. Takes me between 1-2 weeks per tank depending on my driving. I'm on my second one now, and it's been 3 weeks already

It all depends on your driving habits. But 2 tanks prior should be fine. You will be running 91+ from then on anyways.

The stock Fit is around 17.5 seconds quarter mile I think. Extrapolating from the ET vs. weight/hp chart here, my guess is 16+ seconds. The TunerCalcs calculator seems to agree. So it wouldn't exactly be the fastest car out there with this low-boost kit. With exhaust header and injector upgrade maybe low 15s.

I just want my "stopwatch" method of 0-60 mph to be better than 11.9 seconds. I clocked my a/t Jetta VR6 at just over 8 seconds (yeah, I'm not doing it how the experts measure it apparently). I timed my friend's base a/t Fit (brand new) at just over 12 seconds twice. Mine comes in just under 12. 9-10 would be nice, but I think that's asking a lot of 5# kit.

S2000 kits
Heard any feedback on installation or performance yet from the S2000 guys on their kits?
