KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Thread 2.0!
for those of you who were too lazy to sift through the posts on the S2k forum posted earlier...here's a link to a video of an owner of the kit exiting his driveway:

The stock Fit is around 17.5 seconds quarter mile I think. Extrapolating from the ET vs. weight/hp chart here, my guess is 16+ seconds. The TunerCalcs calculator seems to agree. So it wouldn't exactly be the fastest car out there with this low-boost kit. With exhaust header and injector upgrade maybe low 15s.
Reminder to those eagerly waiting to install the supercharger the instant you get one: Now would be a good time to start filling up with the 91 octane gas.

according to edmunds full test of a manual transmissioned fit sport, the quarter mile was acheived in 16.73 seconds @ 80.82 mph. In their fix/xd comparo, they used their long termer, which did the deed in 16.8 seconds @ 79.0 mph. (the xd did it in 16.5 at some 84 mph. The fit had a few thousand miles of tire wear on it though.)
I don't really think that these numbers really matter...most guys going to the dragstrip in their fits (are their any?) are proably doing the high boost kit, or a k swap.
I think the butt dyno is going to be the best indicator if it was 'worth it' or not.
JDM chris: what does your butt dyno say? you ever timed your street start or zero to sixty? what about an estimate? let us know man, we need some more fuel to this dwindling fire!

wow! That is really something! I know you are manual, and you have a cat delete, so i can't expect the same type of results, but it should be close enough. and it'll be defintely enough to make it a whole lot more fun than what it is now!
