Megan axel-back

If you're still updating the thread, I've got another vid of my fit with a Megan axel-back installed:

YouTube - 2008 Honda Fit Megan Racing Muffler, Fujita SRI

By the way, when deciding which exhaust to go with, this thread was VERY useful. Thanks to all who contributed!

Always updating. Don't get on here as much as I used to, but continue to check/update on occasion. (and say hi to old friends. )

I'm too picky, most of the vids are pretty buzzy, and when your cruising at 3k + on the freeway I would get pretty annoyed. My accord exhuast is quiet even without a silencer, and my RR is noisey as fuuuuuuck with yoshi pipe, but not loud compared to others out there. I want a simple, quiet, mellow low tone straight through like a vibrant or magnaflow, but havent seen anyone rockin them.

vibrant exhausts FTMFW! i had one on my crx and loved it.

i don't have the balls or income to buy a universal vibrant muffler and have it custom welded to my Fit, who's going to bite the bullet and be the first?

Probably gonna be me

or

I normally do single exhaust single tip, but I am kinda liking the idea of dual tip just tucking out from the lower OEM sport body kit lip like RSR. And if there's room put a small resonator from axle back point to the vibrant. Probably cost 150-200 bucks but it would look sleeper, sound nice, and not pull any attention. Really wanted to hear one on the fit before buying anything. I have a good muffler shop.

I am the Anti-Bling. Then all of my vehicles would have flat black or matte carbon fiber exhaust, muah ha haaaaa

should be.. there's a Megan mid-pipe too, so if they have that on or any other mid-pipe that can change the tone.

LOVE IT

if you don't mind me asking, what company makes the muffler (body)? i may go the same route, minus the center out tips. i'm thinking more along the lines of the t1r VIP look

Hi~ my muffler is made by a exhaust manufacturer in Taiwan. The company is "SRD industrial co., ltd." My axle back was custom built by them.

Here is my setup, HFP muffler and megan b-pipe, ASPEC intake

YouTube - Honda Fit Exhaust Clip - HFP muffler, ASPEC intake, Megan B-pipe

i really like it since with the stock b-pipe, the exhaust tone tends to mellow out when you rev higher but with the megan, the opposite is achieved it's a very quiet friendly tone around town and gets pretty loud going past 3500rpms.

i think the overall tone is deep, no drone inside unless you're pushing it and no rattle-can at all.. just smooth and deep. I would have revved more but it was a cold start so that was already pretty bad for the car, you may hear alot of clicking or mechanical engine sounds in this because im parked inside a 3-walled area so sounds are bouncing all about! ANYWAYS enjoy and give feedback!
