I have the automatic with the paddle shifters so I would lean towards the supercharger for more power at lower rpm(less lag). Also, I am not usually revving up to 5500 rpm before each shift so I don’t know if I would ever get the big hp out of the turbo.
I do like turbos, and I think they would be great on the manual fit if you think you are gona keep the rpm's up on your fit that often. Also, other 5psi turbo kits available seem to put out the same peak power as the kraftwerks supercharger, but you get the power for more time and at a larger power band with the supercharger when compared to a turbo.
I really like the kraftwerks supercharger kit and will get one in the 5psi version once they have been out for a while.

IMO the L15 being such a small engine it naturally only produces baby hp and todler tourque.. now because of the engine being low on tourqe as it is i would rather not put any stress at all on the crank and just boost @ no cost off the exhaust..

thats utilizing.. with a front mount the air being cooler of course does good for the engine with producing not much but some power.. also with a recirculator recycling back into vacuum..

my prefference is turbo because there is more potential than a sc with less $$.., lay off boost save the gas lol..its just more to play with than a s/c.. could be cus i have adhd and **** around uping and droping boost.. a/f ratio

now as far as lag.. well for the kits out there today.. (no offense ) with a krispecreme doughnut ass compressor how can there be lag lol.. i mean 4psi?...

but turbo is the prefference over s/c with me
then again it depends what your looking for

ive been preaching this for years. turbos were originally engineered for small displacement engines and superchargers were made for large displacement. not to say that the technology of the supercharger for four cylinder engines hasnt come a LONG way in the past 15 years, bc it has, the turbo hasnt changed in design much because.....well......its a great design for small, low torque engines.

granite i low the supercharger with the no lag.

but honestly that whole 2-3k lag isnt all that much , when your launching your car in BOOST.

Lag on the turbo? not really. I love the power band i have, just what I wanted. And, mine is really responsive so step and boost right away. So for me, boost is better.

Turbo. Reason; adding more boost is a simple $50 boost controller. (of course a tune also)
With a SC, youll need a pulley and a new belt normally.

As said above, the Fit shouldnt have much lag. Turbo kits have smaller turbos, the engine is already ok power wise NA and the compression is semi high.
