New Fit need suggestions

My gf just got a new 08 MT sport fit. I need some advice, im trying to trick it out. Problem is she doesnt like loud intakes, exaust, etc. So I need to know what intakes and exaust's are less noisy. A little noise is ok, just not a lot. Any ideas?

Thx

if you don't drive through knee deep puddles the Injen CAI is right or you. It's not loud just gives it a nice "tuned" sound at a slight sacrifice in throttle response at lower rpm. But a nice jump in midrange torque.

Get a drop in filter such as K&N or a pricey one like spoon and throw on a megan racing cat back exhaust. Thats about as quiet as youll get and still gain alittle.

Weapon R street header no added noise car is way easier to drive with power at tap. (no need for https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/imag...es/vtec228.gif to get on the interstate) better mpg too. Spoon drop in air filter I took off the cold air snorkel off the stock box and imo it had more power.

lets see....
you live in florida where it seems to me like it rains a decent amount. rock the fujita short ram or the fujita cold air intake. not loud at all unless your gunning it to red line. it just gives a beefier tone.

then for the exhaust i would go with a custom set up. go to your local exhaust shop and get them to make you a 2.25 pipes with a 16-21" resonator/glasspack. you can buy yourself a ep3 exhaust muffler and it will give you a deeper tone.

or you can do what i did, i bought a hks super drager axle back from an accord(it was the cheapest at the time) and did a custom set up. you cant even HEAR the exhaust at all. the entire cat back with the hks super drager cost me only 400 bucks. thats like any old catback system. so im happy with it.

ive never gotten pulled over or harrassed with this muffler on.

yeah...or you can rig your intake up like everyone else, cut off the snorkel...grab a k&n filter and then just buy yourself a wold sport muffler or the megan dual tip axle back and your set.

get a header! forsure

I had a custom job done with my exhaust. I have an RSX Type-S muffler welded on. It flows more than an N/A Fit will ever need, and it's OEM quiet. Only slightly deeper tone than the stock muffler.
